28 Dec 2025 (ONA) — Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) main index closed lower
today, decreasing by 0.26 percent.
The
MSX 30 Index concluded the trading session at 5,940.46 points, registering a drop
of 15.87 points from the previous close of 5,956.33 points.
Total
trading turnover reached RO 37,840,464, reflecting a decrease of 6 percent
compared to the previous session’s value of RO 40,264,404.
MSX
market report noted that the overall market capitalization went down by 0.131
percent from the last trading day to approximately RO 32.17 billion.
The
trading activity of non-Omani investors saw purchases worth RO 2,966,000,
representing 7.84 percent of the total market activity. Their sales amounted to
RO 2,509,000, accounting for 1.35 percent.
