Amman, March 11 (Petra) — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi held a phone call on Wednesday with UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During the call, Safadi conveyed Jordan’s condolences to the United Arab Emirates over the killing of two members of the Emirati armed forces while carrying out their national duty.
The two ministers also discussed the repercussions of the dangerous escalation in the region and its impact on regional and international peace and stability.
Safadi reaffirmed Jordan’s full support for the UAE in confronting the Iranian attacks and in all measures it takes to safeguard its security, sovereignty, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
For his part, Al Nahyan reiterated the UAE’s solidarity with Jordan in confronting the Iranian attacks.
