US Stocks Post Fifth Consecutive Losing Week

New York, March 28 (QNA) – The main indexes on Wall Street closed lower Friday, recording their worst close in more than six months.

The S&P 500 index lost 1.70%, closing at 6,368.85 points, recording its fifth consecutive weekly loss, the longest losing streak in nearly four years.

Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite fell 2.14%, to 20,948.36 points. The Dow Jones Industrial Average also declined by 1.75%, to 45,166.64 points. (QNA)
