New York, June 01 (QNA) – Fourteen independent UN experts warned that escalating Israeli settler violence in the Occupied Palestinian Territory poses a serious threat to Palestinian communities and is contributing to forced displacement.
In a joint statement, the experts said settler attacks, carried out with impunity and backed by Israeli authorities, are being used to restrict Palestinians’ access to land and essential services, facilitating further settlement expansion.
They called on Israel to halt support for settler violence, ensure accountability for attacks, protect Palestinian communities, and guarantee the safe return of displaced residents. (QNA)
