Amman, June 3 (Petra) — United Nations Secretary-General Antonio
Guterres on Wednesday expressed deep concern over Iranian attacks
targeting civilian and critical infrastructure facilities in Kuwait
and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to UN News, Guterres, in a statement delivered by his
spokesperson during the daily press briefing, voiced grave concern
over reports of civilian casualties resulting from the attacks.
He called on all parties to exercise maximum restraint and avoid any
further escalation that could jeopardize ongoing diplomatic efforts.
Guterres also stressed the need to fully respect the sovereignty and
territorial integrity of all states.
