Beirut, June 03 (QNA) – Lebanese President Gen. Joseph Aoun and British National Security Adviser Jonathan Powell spoke by phone on Wednesday to discuss the security and military developments in Lebanon and the path of negotiations.
According to a source from the Lebanese Presidency, Powell confirmed to Aoun that Britain stands side by side with Lebanon and backs its political choices to safeguard security and stability in the country. (QNA)
