Beirut, June 04 (QNA) – Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes today targeting eastern Lebanon.
Lebanese national news agency reported that Israeli airstrikes targeted the town of Sahmar in the Western Bekaa region of eastern Lebanon, resulting in the death of three people and injuries to others.
The United States had previously announced that Israel and Lebanon had reached a ceasefire agreement following the conclusion of the second and final day of the fourth round of negotiations between the two sides in Washington. (QNA)
