Beirut, June 06 (QNA) – The Lebanese Army said on Saturday that several military personnel, including an officer, were killed in an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon.
In a statement, the army said the strike targeted a military vehicle traveling on the Khardali–Nabatieh road, amid continued Israeli attacks on areas of southern Lebanon.
The statement did not specify the number of soldiers killed in the strike.
Earlier, Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health said the death toll from Israeli attacks had risen to more than 3,558 people killed and 10,870 wounded as of Friday evening. (QNA)
