Doha. June 08 (QNA) – HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call Monday from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Abbas Araghchi.
During the call, the two sides reviewed the mediation efforts between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as the latest developments in Lebanon.
During the call, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the State of Qatar’s support for all efforts aimed at containing escalation and reaching a comprehensive agreement that would help strengthen security and stability and achieve lasting peace in the region. (QNA)
