Amman, June 8 (Petra) — The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) closed lower
Monday, with the general price index falling 0.39 percent to 3,991
points.
Turnover reached JD13.2 million with 4.1 million shares traded
through 4,289 transactions.
Of 103 listed companies, 25 advanced and 38 declined, compared with
previous closing prices.
The performance of sectors was mixed, with the industrial index
falling 1.22 percent and the financial index down 0.44 percent, while
the services index was up 0.40 percent.
