Cairo, June 08 (QNA) – The State of Qatar participated Monday in the Arab coordination meeting at the level of permanent delegates to the Arab League, which was held at the General Secretariat’s headquarters in Cairo to discuss and follow up on the preparations underway for holding the 6th Arab-European ministerial meeting, scheduled to be held Amman, Jordan on Jun. 22-23.
The delegation of the State of Qatar was led by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States Sheikh Jassim bin Abdul Rahman bin Mohammad Al-Thani.
During the meeting, the permanent representatives of the Arab member states were briefed on the latest developments regarding preparations for the Sixth Arab-European Ministerial Meeting and discussed the declaration scheduled to be adopted at the meeting.
The Sixth Arab-European Ministerial Meeting, scheduled to be held in Amman, comes within the framework of both sides’ commitment to advancing mechanisms of joint cooperation between the Arab states and the member states of the European Union. (QNA)
