Doha, June 09 (QNA) – The Qatar Stars League (QSL), in cooperation with the Qatar Football Association (QFA), organized a workshop and financial oversight platform session for first and second division clubs as part of preparations for the 2026–27 football season.
The workshop aimed to brief clubs on the latest developments related to financial oversight regulations and requirements, as well as circulars issued for the new season.
Participants discussed updates to the Financial Control Platform, procedures for preparing financial plans, and the roles of the Financial Control Committee and Central Scouting Committee.
Discussions also covered governance and management, player and coach intermediaries, operational expense settlement procedures, and penalties for violations of financial oversight regulations.
The event also included a practical demonstration of the platform’s use, explaining workflow procedures between clubs and the Financial Control Committee and Unit, while addressing questions and observations raised by club representatives. (QNA)
