Amman, June 15 (Petra) – Jordan welcomed the agreement reached
between the United States and Iran to halt military operations and

vital step for restoring regional and international stability.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expressed
appreciation for the diplomatic mediation carried out by Pakistan,
Qatar, and other friendly nations, praising the responsiveness of
both Washington and Tehran to these efforts.
The ministry stressed the importance of securing a permanent deal

neighborliness, and respects state sovereignty. It further called for
the restoration of maritime security and freedom of navigation in the
Strait of Hormuz to its status prior to February 28, 2026.
