Occupied Jerusalem, June 22 (QNA) – Two Palestinians were martyred and another was injured by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire early Sunday near the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank.
According to the Palestinian news agency (WAFA), the incident occurred near Karmei Tzur settlement, which is built on land belonging to Beit Ummar.
In a related development, another Palestinian was wounded by Israeli gunfire in the same town and was transferred to a hospital for treatment.
The incident comes amid continued Israeli military raids across the occupied West Bank, where confrontations, arrests, and shooting incidents are reported on a near-daily basis. (QNA)
