Riyadh, July 04 (QNA) – Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz held a telephone conversation on Saturday with his Syrian counterpart, Anas Khattab, to discuss bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation and security coordination between the interior ministries of the two countries, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.
The ministers also reviewed the latest security developments in Syria, particularly the recent bombing in Damascus.
The Saudi interior minister reaffirmed the Kingdom’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack and expressed Saudi Arabia’s full solidarity with Syria in confronting all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism. He also underscored the Kingdom’s steadfast support for Syria’s security and stability. (QNA)
