Cairo, July 07 (QNA) – The Arab League praised the Kingdom of Morocco for successfully thwarting terrorist plots targeting its security.
The League affirmed that any attack against Morocco or any attempt to undermine its stability constitutes an unacceptable assault on the security of an Arab state.
In a statement issued Tuesday, Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Fahmy commended the vigilance of the security services that foiled the plot.
Fahmy expressed the Arab League’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Morocco: its leadership, government, and people, and the League’s support for all legitimate measures the country takes to safeguard its national security, preserve its sovereignty, and protect its citizens and institutions from any terrorist threats.
The Arab League Secretary-General also stressed the importance of strengthening Arab cooperation, enhancing security and judicial coordination, and increasing information-sharing among Arab states to reinforce efforts to combat terrorist organizations in all forms. (QNA)
