Kuwait, July 08 (QNA) – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the Iranian targeting of a Saudi oil tanker transiting the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday, labeling it a flagrant violation of international law that threatens maritime safety and global energy stability.
In a press statement, the ministry reaffirmed Kuwait’s unwavering solidarity with Saudi Arabia, rejecting any aggression that undermines its security, interests, or strategic resources.
The ministry demanded the immediate cease of these hostile actions, urging all parties to prioritize de-escalation, respect international maritime law, and safeguard the region’s vital waterways. (QNA)
