Oil Rises Over 3%

Singapore, July 08 (QNA) – Oil prices gained more than 3% on Wednesday amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
Brent crude futures gained $2.40, or 3.2%, to $76.56 a barrel.
US West Texas Intermediate crude climbed $2.26, or 3.2%, to $72.70 a barrel.
Both benchmarks rose by about 3% on Tuesday after the US revoked the general license authorizing the sale of Iranian crude oil, reigniting concerns of supply disruptions. (QNA)
