Cairo, July 08 (QNA) – Egypt strongly condemned Iran’s targeting of Kuwait and Bahrain, considering it a flagrant violation of their sovereignty, a serious threat to the security and stability of the Gulf region, and an unacceptable escalation that will only exacerbate tensions in the region.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized Egypt’s complete rejection of all actions that infringe upon the security and sovereignty of fraternal nations or threaten the security and stability of the region. It reiterated its call for restraint and de-escalation to preserve regional security and safeguard peace and stability.
Egypt expressed its full solidarity with Kuwait and Bahrain, affirming its support for them in confronting all threats to their security and stability. The Ministry also reiterated that there is no justification or excuse for these repeated and reprehensible Iranian attacks on the Gulf Arab states, whose security and stability are an integral part of the security and stability of Egypt and the entire region.
