Amman, July 8 (Petra) — The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) general price
index closed down 0.01% Wednesday at 3,880 points.
Total trading volume reached JD8.9 million, as 3.6 million shares
changed hands through 3,637 transactions.
At the sector level, the industrial and financial indexes fell 0.61%
and 0.03%, respectively, while the services benchmark rose 0.45
percent.
Of the 85 companies traded during the session, 30 posted gains in
share prices compared with their previous closes, while 31 went down.
