Oman Participates in Arab Radio, Television Festival in Tunisia
Tunis, 22 Sep 2026 (ONA) — The
Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Information, participated in
the 26th edition of the Arab Radio and Television Festival, which opened at the
ancient Carthage Theatre in the Tunisian capital and runs until 24 September.
During this edition, held under
the slogan “The Pulse of the Image and the Echo of the Future,” Omani
artist Samira Al Wahibi was honoured alongside a group of male and female
artists from across the Arab world.
The festival, organized by the Arab States Broadcasting Union
(ASBU), features panel discussions, an “ASBU” exhibition for
technology and equipment, and a programme production market. The awarding ceremony
of the winning Arab works in the radio and television competitions and the new
media competition will be held this Thursday at the Opera Theatre in the City
of Culture in Tunis.
