Gaza, July 08 (QNA) – The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 73,110, in addition to 173,599 injured.
Medical sources said that hospitals in the Strip received 8 bodies and 17 injuries over the past twenty-four hours, noting that the total number of deaths since the ceasefire on Oct. 11 has risen to 1,084, and the number of injuries has risen to 3,491, while 799 bodies were recovered from under the rubble of buildings destroyed by the war.
The sources also noted that there were a number of victims under the rubble and on the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews were unable to reach them due to a lack of necessary equipment.
A ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Israeli entity came into effect on Oct. 11, but the occupation forces continue to violate the agreement by launching more raids, artillery shelling and heavy gunfire on various areas of the Gaza Strip. (QNA)
