Gaza, July 09 (QNA) – The casualty toll from the genocide witnessed in Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, as a result of the Israeli occupation, has reached 73,118, with 173,615 people injured.
Official medical sources in Gaza reported that hospitals across the Strip received the bodies of eight martyrs and treated 17 injured people during the past 24 hours. This brings the total number of deaths since the ceasefire announcement on October 11 to 1,092, while the number of injuries has risen to 3,507.
The sources also stated that rescue teams recovered the bodies of 799 martyrs from beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings, noting that search and rescue operations are still ongoing. (QNA)
