Doha, July 09 (QNA) – The Ministry of Culture’s Al Khor Cultural Center announced a series of events and activities as part of its summer program, held this year under the slogan ‘Learn, Create, Enjoy.’
Among this year’s summer activities is a training course in the traditional art of Al Ardha for children, taking place from July 12 to 15 at the Al Khor community center (Corniche), in cooperation with the Nomas Center, it said.
The course, part of Al Khor Cultural Center’s summer program which began on June 28 and continues until August 12, features a diverse range of workshops and educational and creative activities.
Presented by Imran Al Kuwari, a trainer from the Nomas Center, the course aims to instill a sense of pride in national identity among young people and revive Qatari folk arts in line with the Ministry of Culture’s vision to preserve and promote cultural heritage among new generations.
Director of Al Khor Cultural Center Mariam Al Mohannadi stated that the center is committed each summer to offering a distinguished selection of workshops and programs that serve various segments of society and contribute to enriching the summer vacation for young people and children.
This initiative aligns with the Ministry of Culture’s support for talent development and skills enhancement.
She added that this year’s summer program includes a wide range of workshops and courses. (QNA)
