Amman, July 11 (Petra) — The Council of the Jordan Press Association
(JPA) approved the formation of several specialized support
committees during its weekly meeting on Saturday, chaired by
Association President Tariq Al-Momani.
The council finalized the appointments for eight committees tasked
with supporting the JPA’s operations:
The Women’s Committee will include Alaa Al-Balasmeh, Iman Abu Qaoud,
Samar Haddadin, Nouf Al-Werr, and Wafaa Zinatiyeh.
The Photographers’ Committee will consist of Nader Daoud, Mohammad
Abu Kaf, Mahmoud Jabar, Ashraf Khamis, Hassan Al-Tamimi, Salah
Al-Malkawi, Sami Al-Khashman, Ahmad Assaf, and Shadi Nsoor.
The Sports Committee will comprise Awni Freij, Habis Al-Jarrah,
Shibli Al-Shatrat, Yaqoub Al-Housani, Thair Al-Shaibani, Khaled
Al-Khatatbeh, Youssef Abu Hmaid, and Ahmad Shteiwi.
The Websites Committee will include Ayman Jreid Al-Majali, Marwa
Al-Behairi, Majid Tobeh, Oday Al-Hunaiti, Nadia Al-Ananzeh, and Iman
Al-Momani.
The Cultural Committee will consist of Faisal Basbous, Saleh
Al-Khawaldeh, Mahmoud Daoud, Ramzi Al-Ghazawi, Mounir Atiq, Yassin
Al-Qaisi, Mohammad Al-Khasawneh, and Suhair Al-Rassam.
The Social Committee will be composed of Islam Al-Omari, Malak
Al-Kouri, Khaled Abdel Fattah, Mashhour Abu Eid, Abdul Rahman
Al-Balawneh, Khaled Al-Zoubi, Faisal Al-Quran, Hassan Al-Hasani, and
Majid Al-Maaytah.
The Freedoms Committee will include Sahm Al-Abadi, Majid Al-Khodari,
Jamal Al-Bawarid, Linda Maayah, Faten Al-Kouri, Lama Abseh, and Rima
Awadallah.
The Palestine Committee will consist of Jamal Ayadeh, Joumana Abu
Halimeh, Nawaf Al-Zaru, Dina Arabiyat, Leila Arabiyat, Shadi
Al-Shakhanbeh, Imad Al-Nashash, and Mahmoud Aboud.
