17 Sep 2026 (ONA) — The Sultanate of Oman has expressed its strong
condemnation and denunciation of the treacherous criminal targeting of the Holy
City of Makkah, affirming its categorical rejection of any infringement upon
the sanctity of the holy sites or the safety of the worshippers.
In
a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, the Sultanate of Oman further
expressed its solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the measures it is
taking to safeguard its security, stability, and sovereignty. It called upon
the countries of the region to intensify cooperation and solidarity in
addressing all outstanding issues — whether bilateral, regional, or
multilateral — in a manner that guarantees the rights of all to security,
stability, and a safe and dignified life.
