Amman, July 13 (Petra) – Total trading volume at the Amman Stock
Exchange (ASE) reached JD13.6 million on Monday, with 6.5 million
shares traded through 4,805 transactions.
The general share price index fell to 3,873 points, down 0.47
percent. The industrial sector index declined by 2.02 percent and the
financial sector by 0.26 percent, while the services sector rose by
0.20 percent.
Of the 97 companies traded, 27 closed higher and 27 declined compared
with their previous closing prices.
