Doha, July 19 (QNA) – HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met at his office in Lusail Palace on Sunday with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkiye Hakan Fidan.
At the outset of the meeting, HE the Turkish Foreign Minister conveyed his condolences to HH the Amir on the passing of HH the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani.
HH the Amir expressed his appreciation to HE the Turkish Foreign Minister for his sincere condolences.
The meeting addressed the close cooperation between the two countries and the latest regional and international developments, particularly those in the region, as well as ongoing diplomatic efforts and joint coordination aimed at de-escalation and enhancing regional security and stability.
The meeting was attended by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi. (QNA)
