Army chief visits RJAF Command to check on operational preparedness

Amman, July 26 (Petra) – Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj.
Gen. Yousef Ahmed Huneiti, on Sunday visited the Royal Royal
Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) Command.

During the visit, RJAF Commander briefed Huneiti on the key
operational and training missions and duties, level of readiness and
efficiency of the force’s formations and units, efforts exerted in
carrying out national duties amid regional circumstances and
developments.

The Commander also highlighted plans and programs aimed at
developing capabilities in line with the modernization and
development of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)-Arab Army.

Talking at the meeting, Huneiti affirmed that RJAF constitutes a
“fundamental” pillar of the national defense system, praising the
“high level of professionalism and efficiency” of its personnel and
their efforts in carrying out various duties and missions.

Huneiti said this dedication contributes to protecting the Kingdom,
preserving its security and stability, and fulfilling their assigned
responsibilities with “efficiency and competence,” in accordance with
the Royal directives and vision.

Huneiti was also briefed on the RJAF’s efforts in addressing various
regional developments and circumstances, and the procedures in place
to maintain the highest levels of operational preparedness, ensuring
“efficient and professional” execution of duties and missions,
according to a JAF statement.

A number of senior JAF officers attended the meeting.
