Amman, July 26 (Petra) – The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) will
temporarily close the 3rd Circle’s King Talal Tunnel nightly,
starting Sunday evening, affecting traffic heading from Abdel Moneim
Riad Street toward Al-Kroom Street.
The tunnel will be closed daily from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. to
install smart LED lighting systems to enhance road safety and improve
driver visibility.
Drivers are urged to follow temporary traffic detours and signage,
using alternative routes during closure hours to ensure smooth
traffic flow and safety.
GAM stated that the closures will be supervised by its Traffic
Department and the Central Traffic Department.
