Amman, July 27 (Petra) – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of
Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi held a telephone call
Monday with Malta’s newly appointed Minister for Foreign and European
Affairs, Chris Fearne.
The ministers discussed ways to strengthen the two countries’
relations and expand cooperation bilaterally and within the framework
of the European Union.
Safadi and Fearne also discussed regional developments and efforts to
end escalation in the region.
Safadi congratulated his Maltese counterpart on his appointment as
foreign minister.
The ministers agreed to maintain communication and coordination on
developing bilateral relations and addressing regional and
international issues of mutual interest.
