Amman, July 27 (Petra) – Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
reached JD22.1 million on Monday, with 17.9 million shares traded
through 4,617 transactions.
The ASE General Index closed at 3,954 points, up 0.39 percent.
The services sector index rose 0.90 percent, and the financial sector
index gained 0.35 percent, while the industrial sector index declined
0.37 percent.
Of the 107 companies whose shares were traded, 43 recorded gains, and
27 posted declines compared with their previous closing prices.
