Riyadh, July 27 (QNA) – Official spokesperson for the Saudi Ministry of Defense Maj. Gen. Turki Al Maliki said that several one-way attack drones had been intercepted and destroyed over the past hours as they were about to target petroleum facilities in the Riyadh region and the Eastern Province.
According to a statement by the Saudi Defense Ministry on its X account, Al Maliki added that “these terrorist attempts had been launched from Iraqi territory and carried out by terrorist militias affiliated with Iran.”
He emphasized the Kingdom’s inherent right to defend itself and its resources, and its right to respond at the appropriate time and place.(QNA)
