Brussels, July 28 (QNA) – European stock indexes opened higher on Tuesday despite a sell-off in semiconductor stocks, while investors continued to monitor energy price movements and await corporate earnings results.
Among the major European markets, France’s CAC 40 index in Paris rose 0.42 percent, while Germany’s DAX index in Frankfurt gained 0.32 percent.
Milan’s benchmark index added 0.18 percent, while Britain’s FTSE 100 index in London hovered around the flatline, edging down 0.09 percent. (QNA)
