Defense Minister Launches Digital Bayan Platform for Civil Service

Khartoum, 5 August 2026 (SUNA) – Defense Minister Lieutenant General Hassan Daoud Kabroun, representing the Prime Minister, attended on Wednesday the launch ceremony of the Digital Bayan Platform for Civil Service at Al-Salam Rotana Hotel in Khartoum, in the presence of ministers of interior, human resources and social development, digital transformation and telecommunications, agriculture and irrigation, animal resources and fisheries, trade and industry, infrastructure and transport, health, youth and sports, as well as several undersecretaries, heads of government institutions, and officials. The Defense Minister paid tribute to the soldiers and fighters across Sudan, commending their sacrifices and dedication in serving the nation.He highlighted the importance of the Digital Bayan Platform in supporting the transition from traditional paper-based procedures to modern digital systems, affirming the state’s commitment to supporting and further developing this major project. The minister stressed the importance of investing in human capital as a key driver of development, praising the capabilities and contributions of Sudanese youth inside and outside the country.He directed service-providing government institutions to accelerate the implementation of digital transformation initiatives in order to improve public services, reduce processing time, and make government procedures more efficient for citizens. The Defense Minister commended the significant efforts made by the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Telecommunications and the Civil Service Affairs Bureau in completing the project.He expressed confidence that, in the near future, all ministries and government institutions across Sudan would operate through digital systems and keep pace with technological advancements in this field.BH/BH
