Damascus, August 10 (QNA) – Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa met today with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Barham Salih to discuss the voluntary and safe return of Syrian refugees.
The two sides also discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between Syria and the UNHCR, particularly on issues related to refugees and internally displaced persons, and to support efforts aimed at achieving voluntary return, as well as promoting early recovery projects that contribute to stability and improved living conditions in Syria.
