Amman, Aug. 11 (Petra) – Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
reached JD8.8 million on Tuesday, with 4.9 million shares changing
hands through 4,318 transactions.
The ASE general price index rose 0.09 percent to 3,990 points.
The industrial sector index gained 0.47 percent, the services sector
rose 0.05 percent, and the financial sector increased 0.03 percent.
Of the 103 companies whose shares were traded, 41 recorded gains and
26 declined compared with their previous closing prices.
