Amman, Aug. 12 (Petra) — Seventy Jordanian companies will showcase
their products at a one-day industrial exhibition hosted by the Amman
Chamber of Industry (ACI) on Thursday, bringing manufacturers
together with procurement officials from government institutions,
major retailers and hotels across the Kingdom.
The exhibition, to be held at the chamber’s headquarters under the
patronage of Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yarub Qudah, will
feature companies from the plastics, textiles, food, chemicals,
engineering and cosmetics industries, ACI said in a statement
Wednesday.
ACI President Fathi Jaghbir said the event aims to create direct
links between Jordanian industrial companies and procurement
officials, giving potential buyers an opportunity to explore locally
manufactured products and the production capabilities of
participating companies.
The exhibition will also provide a platform to explore commercial
partnerships and highlight the ability of Jordanian manufacturers to
supply products and industrial solutions to different sectors of the
national economy, Jaghbir said.
