Amman, Aug. 12 (Petra) – SOS Children’s Villages Jordan announced
Wednesday it will launch its “Happiness Carnival” on Thursday, as 3
consecutive events will be held at its villages in Amman, Irbid, and
Aqaba.
In a statement, the organization said the carnival is intended to
provide a space for children, young people, families, and local
communities to meet and interact.
The gala will also give visitors an opportunity to learn more about
SOS Children’s Villages and take part in recreational activities.
The events are free and open to the public. The Aqaba event will be
held Thursday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., with exclusive support from
Jordan Bromine Company.
Meanwhile, the Irbid event will take place on Thursday, Aug. 20, from
6 p.m. to 10 p.m., with support from Unipal Jordan.
The Amman event will be held on Thursday, Aug. 27, from 6 p.m. to 10
p.m., under the patronage of South African Ambassador to Jordan
Tselane Mokuena, with support from Capital Bank and Gulf Insurance
Group – Jordan.
The organization said these events will feature family-oriented
activities, including face painting, magic and entertainment shows,
inflatable games, and other recreational programs.
The carnival will also feature a bazaar bringing together local
community participants, providing women and small-business owners
with an opportunity to display their products and support local
enterprise and community participation.
