Amman, Aug. 13 (Petra) – Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
reached JD12.4 million on Thursday, with 4.4 million shares changing
hands through 3,780 transactions.
The ASE general price index closed at 3,991 points, up 0.51 percent.
Of the 106 companies whose shares were traded, 39 recorded gains and
36 declined compared with their previous closing prices.
At the sector level, the financial index rose 0.90 percent, the
services index gained 0.07 percent, while the industrial index fell
0.26 percent.
