Director-General of Sudan Sea Ports Corporation (SPC), Engineer Jailani Mohamed Jailani, received the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Sudan, Dr. Zaid bin Makhlad Al-Harbi, at his office on Wednesday. At the outset of the meeting, the Director-General welcomed the ambassador and expressed his appreciation for the strong fraternal relations between Sudan and Saudi Arabia. He affirmed the Sea Ports Corporation’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with the Kingdom in all areas related to maritime and port operations. The meeting discussed a number of issues concerning enhanced cooperation and coordination between the Sudan Sea Ports Corporation and relevant authorities in Saudi Arabia, in a manner that contributes to developing economic and trade relations between the two countries and enhancing maritime transport and port activity. Both sides stressed the importance of maintaining communication and coordination in support of their shared interests and expanding prospects for joint cooperation.BH/BH
