Doha, September 08 (QNA) – The Qatar Society of Engineers will organize a conference on artificial intelligence in the construction sector on Nov. 22, bringing together local and international experts and specialists, as well as decision-makers, engineers and professionals from the engineering and construction sectors.
The conference will focus on the role of artificial intelligence in advancing design and construction processes, improving project management and decision-making, and supporting digital transformation and sustainability in Qatar’s engineering sector.
It will also examine data governance and information security frameworks for engineering companies and organizations, while showcasing practical applications and real-world use cases of emerging technologies. The event will provide a platform for experts and specialists to exchange best practices and explore opportunities for cooperation across engineering and construction fields.
Eng. Amna Mohammed Al Namaa, Chairperson of the Qatar Society of Engineers, said the Society was committed to adopting and localizing modern technologies, noting that artificial intelligence had become an important tool for accelerating project delivery and improving the accuracy of planning and execution in the construction sector.
She said the conference would help keep pace with rapid technological advances and explore the future of construction, while contributing to the development of national engineering capabilities and fostering an innovative working environment that supports sustainable development and aligns with Qatar National Vision 2030.
