Amman, Sept. 11 (Petra)– The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) on
Thursday laid to rest the bodies of three military service conscripts
who died in a traffic accident involving a bus carrying them as they
were returning to their homes in southern of the Kingdom. The bodies
of two other conscripts were buried on Friday.
The funerals, held over two days, were attended by a number of
officers, non-commissioned officers and personnel of the Jordan Armed
Forces-Arab Army, as well as large numbers of citizens. The deceased
were laid to rest in their respective hometowns in accordance with
military funeral ceremonies.
Representatives of the JAF General Command laid wreaths at the graves
of the deceased.
The General Command of the JAF mourned the deceased and extended its
sincere condolences and sympathy to their families, praying to Allah
Almighty to grant them mercy and forgiveness and their families
patience and solace, and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
