Amman, Sept. 13 (Petra) – Total trading volume on the Amman Stock
Exchange (ASE) reached JD9.9 million on Sunday, with 4.7 million
shares changing hands through 3,780 transactions.
The ASE general price index fell 0.16 percent to 4,086 points.
By sector, the industrial index declined 0.55 percent and the
financial index fell 0.31 percent, while the services index rose 0.41
percent.
Of the 100 companies traded, 36 closed higher and 31 ended lower
compared with their previous closing prices.
