Beijing, September 13 (QNA) – Beijing is hosting the 15th international forum for Arab studies, organized by the China-Arab Research Center for Culture and Tourism Cooperation (CACTCRC), in cooperation with the Beijing International Studies University (BISU), with the participation of 200 representatives of government entities, universities, and research institutes, as well as companies from China and beyond.

The forum discussed culture and tourism cooperation between China and Arab countries, in line with the release of the Arab-China culture and tourism index of 2025, worked jointly by the School of Tourism Sciences and CACTCRC at BISU.

More than 60 experts and researchers partook in the forum’s sessions that touched on several topics related to culture and tourism cooperation between China and Arab countries, in addition to the regional system and innovation in research.

An official from the Bureau of International Exchange and Cooperation at China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism expressed the importance of increasing studies on the Arab world, strengthen mutual understanding, and aligning aspirations to deepen exchanges between China and Arab countries.

The official noted of the role that cultural and tourism cooperation plays in building a future connecting China and the Arab countries, calling on strengthening knowledge exchange and benefiting from tourism to strongly connect people especially amongst the youth.

The forum continues to establish itself as a platform for intellectual dialogue and academic exchange between China and Arab countries. (QNA)
