Oman Tent Pegging Team Qualifies for World Cup Finals in Jordan
Muscat, 21 Sep 2026 (ONA) — Oman
tent pegging team has qualified for the finals of the Tent Pegging World Cup,
alongside Pakistan team, after the riders of the national team secured second
place in the qualifying rounds hosted by the Sultanate of Oman, represented by Oman
Equestrian and Racing Federation, at the racetrack of the Royal Oman Police
Equestrian Division.
The qualifiers were contested by the teams of the Sultanate of
Oman, the United States of America, Qatar, Iran, Pakistan, and Uzbekistan, with
the six nations competing for two qualifying berths to the World Cup finals
scheduled to be held in Jordan this November.
The concluding ceremony of the
qualifiers was held under the patronage of Sayyid Saud Hilal Al Busaidi,
Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth.
