Amman, Sept. 29 (Petra) — Muhyiddine Touq, Head of the Higher
Council of the National Centre for Curriculum Development (NCCD), was
elected president of the Board of Governors of the International
Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) in Austria for a two-year term.
The academy is an international scientific institution founded in
2010 under an agreement between Austria and the UN, and it offers
academic programs and specialized courses in anti-corruption. Jordan
was among the first countries to sign the agreement establishing it.
The academy has 84 members from around the world, including several
Arab countries.
Touq previously served as co-chair at the academy’s launch ceremony,
which was attended by former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
