Doha, September 29 (QNA) – HE Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari held separate meetings with his counterparts from Armenia, India and Azerbaijan on the sidelines of the 2026 annual meeting of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), being hosted by Qatar.
HE Al Kuwari met HE Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia Vahe Hovhannisyan, HE Minister of Finance and Minister of Corporate Affairs of the Republic of India Nirmala Sitharaman and HE Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov.
The meetings focused on bilateral relations between Qatar and the three countries and ways to strengthen cooperation, particularly in the financial, economic, investment and trade sectors.
The officials also discussed key developments and issues of mutual interest.
The AIIB annual meeting brings together officials and representatives from member countries to discuss infrastructure investment and economic development. (QNA)
