Specialized Islamic Finance gets securities commission approval to issue JD10 million in Sukuk

Amman, Sept. 29 (Petra) — The Specialized Islamic Finance Company
(SIFC), a subsidiary of the Specialized Leasing Company (SLC) and a
member of the Housing Bank Group, announced it has obtained approval
from the Jordan Securities Commission (JSC) to issue Islamic
financing sukuk with a nominal value of JD10,000 per sukuk and a
total value of JD10 million, registered and offered for public
subscription under the absolute Mudaraba structure.

The Commission’s approval of the issuance reflects the company’s
ability to meet regulatory requirements for issuing Islamic financing
instruments, given the solid institutional foundations on which it
builds its presence, and signals confidence in the strength of its
trajectory and readiness to continue growing in the market.

The move translates the company’s approach toward gradual, studied
growth and represents a practical application of its strategy to
diversify funding sources, enabling it to continue deploying its
resources for efficient market investment in line with its growth
plans under a balanced and sustainable approach.

The step holds particular significance within the company’s
trajectory as a transition to a new phase of business development,
contributing to its ability to offer Islamic financing solutions and
products that meet client needs, including financing for vehicles,
real estate, goods, commodities, equipment, and other
Sharia-compliant financing products.

Through the sukuk it will issue and offer for subscription, the
company will provide a Sharia-compliant investment instrument with an
expected return of 6% over a three-year term, with profit
distributions every three months, allowing investors to benefit from
periodic distributions throughout the sukuk’s duration. The
subscription period began Monday, Sept. 28, 2026, and ends Sunday
evening, Oct. 11, 2026.

The Specialized Islamic Finance Company began operations earlier this
year with a capital of JD30 million, with tools and solutions that
combine innovation and digitization to serve various client segments,
under an approach based on transparency and service efficiency and
keeping pace with developments in financial and banking markets,
contributing to expanding access to Islamic financing services and
supporting economic growth.
