Baghdad, October 05 (QNA) – Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Falih Al Zaidi stated that Iraqi oil production is expected to reach 10 million barrels per day by 2031, stressing the importance of attracting foreign investment and strengthening international partnerships to support the country’s economy.
Al Zaidi stated on Monday that, as Iraq strengthens its sovereignty and exits foreign forces, mending the Iraqi economy requires openness to investments and international partnerships. He underlined that the government worked to prevent Iraq from facing international seclusion and expand cooperation with other countries.
The Iraqi government is working on shaping a new economic identity through program balancing, while focusing on infrastructure development, notably when it comes to electricity, the PM added.
The Iraqi Minister said that his country needs active international partnerships, especially with economically developed countries, in light of challenges imposed by the current economic crisis. (QNA)
